Ancient Egyptians called carnelians “the setting sun” or the “Sunset Stone” because its orange hues lend it more female, passive, receptive, qualities. It is traditionally worn to enhance desire, love, and passion as carnelian can help in these areas.

Care Instructions

Remove your piece if in contact with sea or pool water, perspiration, fragrances, alcohol, or creams to prevent the deterioration of stones and metals. If your brass fittings and hexagons darken with use, clean them by soaking them in white vinegar for a few minutes and then rub with a soft cloth. Gold-plated hardware is durable, but to extend its life please follow our care tips. Always carry your pieces in cloth bags or some soft material to prevent damage or break of stones due to blows.
