There are those who undertake a journey towards their place in the world. I am fortunate and many places have inspired my world: the tropical forests, the oceans, the textures of the sand in beaches and deserts, the exuberant rainforest where the acropolis surfaces in Tikal, the turquoise blue of the ocean when diving with sharks in the Bahamas, 'De Stijl' footprints in the architecture of the Dutch cities or the Celtic music in the Irish pubs of Dublin, and the list goes one. My experiences inspire my creations.
Topänga means ”where the mountains meet the sea”, in the Native American Indian language.
